Lender Register reproduces public HMDA, VA and Census files without editorial changes, so most differences between this site and a lender's own understanding of its record come from the files themselves or from the definitions explained in the methodology.

For lenders

If you represent a lender and believe your page misstates your filing, write to the address on the contact page with your LEI, the page URL and the figures you expect. Processing errors (a mis-read column, a wrong county, a name matched to the wrong VA row, a broken comparison) are fixed in the code and the site is rebuilt; expect a reply within five working days. Where a filing itself was corrected through a HMDA resubmission, the change appears here when the FFIEC publishes it in a new snapshot.

Disputes about the underlying record

The loan/application register is the lender's own filing, published by the CFPB. This site cannot alter it. Questions about a filing go to the reporting institution or to the CFPB's HMDA help at ffiec.cfpb.gov; VA figures come from the Department of Veterans Affairs' lender statistics.

Names of people

The site publishes institutions only. If a person's name appears anywhere, report the URL and it will be removed at the next build and the filter tightened.
