Loan types
HMDA classifies every loan as conventional or as insured or guaranteed by FHA, VA or USDA. Each page shows the national trend since 2018, every state's share and the lenders with the most originations of that type in 2024. The VA page also carries the Department of Veterans Affairs' monthly lender volume.
