Every dataset is a work of the United States government and in the public domain, or published under the Census Bureau's terms of service. This build was made on 30 Sep 2026 and processed 12,259,199 HMDA records for 2024.

Home Mortgage Disclosure Act data
HMDA data are collected by the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council's member agencies and published by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau at ffiec.cfpb.gov. The public files are modified to protect applicant privacy and carry no names of individuals. Lender Register is not affiliated with or endorsed by the FFIEC, the CFPB or any member agency.

Published monthly by the Department of Veterans Affairs Loan Guaranty Service as Excel workbooks. Lender Register is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Census Bureau
This product uses the Census Bureau Data API but is not endorsed or certified by the Census Bureau. Population and household figures are taken from the Bureau's published estimate files.
Not included
HUD's FHA Single Family Portfolio Snapshot (monthly FHA endorsements by mortgagee) is not used because HUD's website does not permit automated downloads; FHA figures on this site come from HMDA loan type 2. HMDA demographic fields (race, ethnicity, sex, age) are not tabulated by lender.
